What is measured
Exports by country of destination, imports by country of origin, in euros; goods groups by the classification of products (GP 2019). Services not included.
Limits of the data
- A state’s exports are goods made there; re-exported goods of foreign origin count for no state.
- The states’ imports are counted a little differently from Germany’s and are never mixed.
- Ships’ and aircraft stores, the high seas, countries not found or confidential, and places the map does not show are missing from the map; the totals include them.
