What is measured
Insolvency proceedings filed by companies at the insolvency courts per month, in total from January 2003, by economic section from January 2008.
Limits of the data
- Not seasonally adjusted: Destatis publishes no adjusted series for insolvencies.
- A filing counts in the month of the court’s first decision; the filing itself is often about three months earlier.
